How to Price Your Early Access Videos for Maximum Revenue

January 15, 2026 · 1 min read · By Early Link Team

Pricing is the single biggest lever for your early access revenue. Price too high and nobody buys. Price too low and you leave money on the table. Here is how to find your sweet spot.

The Psychology of Pricing

Fans do not just evaluate price — they evaluate price relative to the value they perceive. Early access to a highly anticipated video from a creator they love is worth more than early access to a routine upload. Adjust pricing by content type:

  • Routine uploads: $1-2
  • Popular series episodes: $2-4
  • Major reveals or reviews: $3-7
  • Event content (finales, milestones): $5-10

Price by Channel Size

Larger audiences have more potential buyers, so you can price lower for volume or higher for premium. General guidelines:

  • Under 10K subs: $1-2 (maximize conversion rate)
  • 10K-50K subs: $2-4 (balanced approach)
  • 50K-500K subs: $3-5 (enough demand for mid-range pricing)
  • 500K+ subs: $3-10 (test higher prices on premium content)

Testing Strategy

Start at $2 for your first three videos. Track conversion rates. Then try $3. If conversions drop less than 33%, you are earning more at $3. Keep testing in $1 increments until you find the ceiling.
